When Morisa Came to Town...

Our niece Morisa came to town at the end of July and stayed with us for 2 weeks! Woo-hoo! How lucky were we to get her all to ourselves for so long!!! We had so much fun and I think(hope) she did too. We miss you Morisa! Come back ANY TIME(SOON)!!!

Aidan turned 6!!!

Aidan turned 6... actually a few weeks ago. We celebrated the day by going to Schlitterbahn water park with some of David's family(fun) that happened to be in town that day plus some of my family(Nic and Lauren, you guys are fun too.) (Hence the reason there are so few pictures.) Afterwards, we headed back to our house for some Texas style barbecue, cake and ice cream, and of course presents.

Owen and his prized possessions

I just love these pictures of Owen. His nursery teachers at church described him as "a ball of sunshine" and that is honestly the perfect description of him. (Mixed with a lot of Mr. Troublemaker and Mr. Daredevil.)



And I love this picture because later on when I think back to when Owen was a baby I am sure I will picture him just like this... with a smile behind the binki and monkey in his hands.

All in a days work...

Not the most productive days in-terms of crossing things off my to-do list... but definitely one of the most rewarding days in-terms of the smiles on my kids faces.

Have I ever told you?

We got pretty lucky with our dog... Pretzel. He puts with a lot from these kiddos (and when I say a lot I mean A LOT!)

Utah!

We were able to go and spend a week in Utah! Woohoo! It was perfect timing also because it was my mom's side annual family reunion. So we got in lots of quality family/cousin time.

And let's not forget roasted marshmallows and all the gooeyness that comes with it.
