Because here at our house we have been doing a lot of this...

My kids have spent HOURS circling things they want from Santa this year... Hope Santa comes flying a 747... ;)

Our new friend...

This is our new friend... elf friend that is. His name is Zoo-dole (picked lovingly by Aidan.)

If you have kids you need to get the book The Elf On The Shelf (which comes with it's own little elf.) It is so cute and a super fun tradition to start with your family. Every night the elf visits Santa and reports on how the kids have behaved that day and when the kids wake up in the morning the elf is in a new spot. This is where we found him the first morning he was at our house. The kids LOVE HIM!!!

Air Show

David, Aidan, and my brother Nic were able to go to an airshow a while back. They had a great time and Aidan is still to this day talking about it.

This morning laying in bed Aidan said, "Mom, when I am married I'll remember you... I'll call you and text you." I hope you do buddy... I hope you do!

8 YEARS!!!

I can't believe that David and I have been married for 8 years! In some ways it seems like we have never been without each other. And in other ways it feels like just yesterday since we said "I do." I could not imagine for me a better companion and friend to go through life and eternity with. I feel incredibly blessed and lucky!

My cute baldie who was going through Chemo at the time sported this fashionable hat to stay warm. It was Nov. in Seattle after all.


We celebrated our anniversary this year early by flying to New York for a night. We went and saw the musical Billy Elliot- okay storyline, good music, and amazing dancing.

Ordered these right off a street car... so yummy!

Seriously, we were in New York for less than twenty four hours but it was nice to get away without the kids and actually be able to walk holding hands. Thanks Lauren, Nic, and Grandpa for watching the kids so we could do this!

The Pumpkin Patch!

We went to the pumpkin patch before Halloween to pick out our pumpkins!
I got one cute picture of the three...

Then I tried to get one of Owen. He was not havin it. Just not sure about being surrounded by all these great big orange things...

But these two were happy campers...

Back into the arms of mom... all is well.

And of course a shot with some of our friends(might as well be family)... The Biorns. We are sad... they are moving and leaving us behind :( We will miss you guys!

Enchanted Rock

We went hiking a few weeks back to this place called Enchanted Rock. It was really fun, nice weather, good company, and really a great hike with 3 kids and a dog in tow.

Aidan's sick with flu

Aidan is sick with what I am thinking is the flu (On a side note- last night Aidan did his "flu business" and then fell back to sleep in it... the clean us was DIS-GUST-ING!). Anywhoo... He kept asking me for medicine and I told him that there are buggies in his body that his body just has to get rid of on it's own, and that really medicine wasn't going to help. Then after just a few seconds he said, "I wish there were birds in my stomach so that they could eat the bugs." Brilliant! I see a future in Medical Research :)

Aidan is a ladies man...

Everyday when I drop Aidan and his friend Arianna off at school this is what I see as they walk away. It always brings a smile to my face.

Then... one day last week when we were walking home from the bus stop he was holding one hand with Arianna and the other hand was holding another little neighbor girls hand... and let's not forget his girlfriend that he sits next to in class as well as the one that lives over by my mom's. Oh man... I could be in trouble with this kid!

Little Owen... Who is not so little any more!!!

Here are the latest pictures from a "photo shoot" I did with Owen. This is typical him: always happy and with a smile so big it looks like his face is going to explode and a shirt drenched by spit-up even though you only put it on him 5 min. earlier.



Owen loves his sleep and will get it anywhere he can...

The Cardinal Sin

My Brother and Sis-in-law broke the cardinal sin and bought the kids living creatures (hermit crabs) without our permission.

All I have to say is, "Just you wait till you have kids... payback is sweet."

Let the games begin...

Aidan is playing soccer again this fall and we are noticing some improvement from last year. He's really going after the ball... running hard... making goals... and having fun(I think he had fun last year as well)!!!

I got Brinn curlers for her birthday and wanted to try them out. To keep them in her hair I put a pair of unders on. Needless to say after crying for 10 mins. about having to go to sleep in them I took them out. Maybe one day...
