Looking Back!

Came across this picture on my computer the other day! Oh how I love this picture!

Those chubby cheeks, wind-swept hair, and squinty little eyes that are obviously tyring to keep out the sun (but tend to be a bit squinty anyways.)

She is my little girly-girl and comrade in this house full of boys! I love watching her grow up and...
I get her! She loves what I loved when I was her age!

One of the things that I am most excited about is introducing her to all the books I loved as a young girl! She actually brought home her first reading books for homework today and is so thrilled!

And yet, I look at this picture and I'm reminded that she will never be this little again! Happiness and sadness all rolled up into one big emotion of gratitude!

Brinn's First School Concert

Brinn had her first school concert right before Christmas.

We were a little disappointed (okay, a lot) in the seating situation and the also the extremely rude people (and by people I mean adults) who talked through other classes performances when it was not their child's turn (seriously people... very eye opening and sad!)

But to see the smile on this face...
... totally worth it! Love this girl of mine!

Aidan's School Concert

Aidan had his school concert a few days after Brinn's! Oh man... this kid bounced through every song!

In fact, the week before when they were practicing for the program at school Aidan got light headed and pale. The PE teacher/coach carried him into the nurses office where he actually passed out for a second. I went and picked him up early and he ended up being fine (pretty sure it was related to low blood sugar,)  but before he went back to school the next day I made sure to remind him to not lock his knees while they were practicing (just in case that had contributed to situation.)
After his concert I leaned over to my mom and David and said, "Something tells me that him locking his knees was not an issue."

Tucker hits a Milestone!

Tucker hit 6 months old back at the beginning of Dec. and it was time to give him his first taste of rice cereal! He seemed to like!

Oh my goodness! Could you just eat him!

A little messy but still liking it!

As we went on, he went from the above pictures to this...

LOVE THIS PICTURE!

After a few weeks of trying to feed him and him clamping his lips tight, we figured out that if we mash up some banana in it he is good to go. The other foods... well, we are still working on that! So far, we are heading down the picky eater road!

November 2012

November 23 David and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary! I can't even begin to tell you how lucky I feel to be married to not only a great husband and father... but truly, my best friend! So glad that he is mine! Looking forward to spending eternity with this guy by my side!

We were in Washington on our anniversary and ended up at the shooting range with some of his siblings! Super fun! (David hates this pic, I told him "Honey, I was going for the we're a little bit crazy look after all these years:)") We saved our real date for when we got home and went to Red Lobster for dinner (CRAB! YUM!) The Melting Pot for dessert (YUMM!) and finished the night off with a movie! Were saving our big ta-do (fun trip/romantic getaway) for when little Tucker is not so "attached" to me.

Love this man! Love our kiddos! Love our life!

Look at these Cuties!!

You know those moments when you look at your kids and your like "WOW... I can't believe their mine!" And you feel so blessed and so greatful...

Aidan Boy

These pictures are pretty old but non-the-less, I am bound and determined to get them on here...
Aidan is such a good kid. He is sweet and sensitive but tries my patience because he does everything at his own pace (SLOW) and that sometimes kills me. He is a great big brother and he and Brinn play a lot together! He has recently gotten into reading and loves the Dairy of a Wimpy Kid books. He just finished his first season of baseball and while he may not be a natural, he improved a lot and had fun... which is all that matters to me!
Aidan soakin up some rays this past summer

First day of 2nd Grade! He loves his teacher Mrs. Wallace... and so do I!

Showing his pouty face...

I love the smile on this boy!

Aidan's birthday dinner of salmon! This boy loves his salmon!

Just For Fun...
