Disney World!!!

Our trip to Disney World was a success! In the words of Aidan, "This is the funnest surprise ever!"

The highlight for Brinn was meeting the Princesses...

I think Sleeping Beauty had a crush on Owen.

So we decided we needed to take our very own Princess home!

This is how Brinn feel asleep the other day for her "nap" at 5pm...

It's so cute to see her in this little outfit because the leotard is one I wore when I was just about her age for my first ballet performance. I have some pictures of me somewhere in this outfit. I will have to find them and post them!

YUMMY!

Made this Chicken Pot Pie from scratch for dinner the other night... including crust. So good!

So good in fact, that David said it was the best meal I have ever made. (I think that is meant to be a compliment??? considering we have been married 7 years?) Too bad I decided while I was making this (picture crying baby, other kids going crazy, doorbell ringing, gravy boiling, crust needing to be rolled all at the same time) that I would not be making it again for a long long time. Here's to next time... whenever that may be.

Took Austin/ Elder Johanson to the airport 2 weeks ago. We sure are going to miss him but are so proud of him and know he will make a great missionary!






Aidan and Brinn were "on one" as we refer to it!

After I took this picture of them kissing Brinn said, "We're married Aidan." Oh dear... I think I have some explaining to do!

Pink-a-licious!

The other thing Brinn cashed in on for going potty was to go to the theater with Aidan and Grandma. They went to go see Pink-a-licious. She talked about it for days/weeks before. She then had to wear her pink-a-licious outfit, including glitter in the hair.

Today Aidan said to me, "How do you like your new shoes? Let's see how you run in them."

He then paused for a second and said, "Wait, your a mom. Mom's don't run. Well, let's see how you walk in them."

I think it's time to bring out the old tennis shoes and put them to some use!

Owen- 6 weeks!

Took these pictures last week but they were too cute to pass up! Owen is 6 weeks old and is a little angel! He sleeps great, hardly ever cries, and is happy being in his swing or on the floor... although he loves to be held and I love to hold this squishy little one. He still does that little tuck where you pick him up and he keeps his legs scrunched up to his chest (love that!), although it's fading quickly so I am enjoying every last one!

A hint of a smile! He smiles a lot more now so stay tuned to those pictures... COMING SOON!

A lucky day...

... Not sure if it was a luckier day for her or for me but little Brinn went poo-poo on the potty! She decided she wanted not one but two "pretty" suckers, and you know that a girl who goes on the potty get what she wants...

... so two "pretty" suckers she shall have.

Hoppy Easter- Part 2!

One of the perks of having Aunts and Uncles with no kids is that they thoroughly want to spoil you! Nic, Lauren, and Austin did an egg hunt for the kids which involved 5 dozen eggs... yes, 5 dozen for two little kids to find! There were candy filled eggs, money filled eggs, and cascarones which are eggs filled with confetti! The kids had a blast!

Aidan and Lauren... I kept saying "Aidan look at me" but his eyes were too busy wondering around looking for his next eggs.

I just love this picture of Brinn! She was so excited about the pack of gum and the marshmallows that the Eater Bunny left that she refused to put them down while she hunted for her eggs. So typical Brinn!
