In the words of my Dad...

"Man I hate the winter's in Texas!"

The other day I took Brinn and Aidan to the park. It was so nice outside and while it does make it easy to get the kids out and doing things, I miss the snow! I know Utah has gotten crazy amounts of snow this winter and I miss bundling up to go out and play in it, or wrapping up in a big warm blanket with a cup of hot chocolate while you watch the snow falling. Maybe one day we will end up somewhere where we have more season's and then I am sure I will miss my nice warm winters in Texas.

Another Failure

Another failed attempt at a cute picture of Aidan and Brinn. Okay, well it's cute but not what I was looking for.

4 Months Old!

Today Brinn is four months old and I can't believe that four months has gone by already. Time goes by so fast! Brinn is a happy, pretty easy little girl who loves attention. When she smiles it just goes from ear to ear. We feel so blessed to have her as part of our family!

The last couple of days she has had a cold, and it has been cold outside and even in the house so I have been trying to keep hats on her.


Sometimes we call Brinn princess so when I found this little crown laying around I thought it would be fun to take her pic in it.

Chain Reaction

I was just sitting on the couch with Brinn in one hand and Aidan in the other, when Brinn spit up all over. I was just about to grab something to clean her up when Aidan started dry heaving. A couple minutes later Brinn spit up again, and again Aidan dry heaved. I just found this so funny! (I don't think I would have found it so funny if he had actually followed through with it.) I guess he is going to be one of those people with a chain reaction to that kind of thing.

Brinn's First Milestone

This morning Brinn decided she was ready to roll over for the first time. I thought maybe it was just a coincidence so we put her on her tummy and she did it again. So this is actually her third roll. I cant believe how big she is getting already. She is so much fun! (Again, you might want to mute the music below.)

Not My Favorite

Brinn has discovered that she loves sleeping with a blanket over her face. It's so funny because she will be crying and you put it up to her face and it's like a drug for her, her eyes will roll back in her head a little and she passes out almost immediately. This is not my favorite thing ... in fact it makes me sick because the whole time she is like this I am constantly worrying. I guess I can't blame her too much though because my mom says I was the same way as a baby, and actually still sleep like that today.
