We got 1cm of snow last night! Woo-hoo! For us "Texans" that's big! School was canceled and by 7:30 this morning this is what our street looked like (Keep in mind that you literally had to be on the street because the snow did not stick to the grass.)
These two had on all their snow clothes by 6:30...
When Aidan found out that it had snowed and that school had been canceled he said, "My wish came true." (Don't tell anyone buddy but so did mine!)
Even Dad and Pretzel got in on the action...
And Aidan was even more excited when his friend Arianna came out to play!
Woo-Hoo for snow days!

Snow in Texas that is exciting! I'm glad Aiden got to skip school.
Oh my word, what is going on?! That is NUTS! How fun that you got to play with your kids in the snow!! Man, that brings back memories of waking to a stillness in the air, turning on the radio and just hoping and praying that they announced a school closure...nothing sweeter.
Wow, I didn't even know that was possible in Texas. I think they'd do the same thing here in Arizona!
Bahahah, that's an awesome snow day. Heheh. Mekhi only wishes he'd get out of school with that much snow. We had seriously treacherous ICE over old snow and they delayed school by a few hours on a half day! Yep, had kids standing out in like 18 degrees for buses that were totally late because it was terrible conditions to be driving in, and then by the time the bus made it to school they pretty much turned around and started the trek home. How dumb is that?!? Needless to say, I so didn't send Khi. Glad you guys got your wish and to enjoy some white stuff. Seems to crazy in hot n humid TX!
