Well, I am going to give this one more try.

Yeah, it worked!

A Laugh

This morning I was eating a bowl of cereal and holding Brinn. She managed to grab it and pour it down the front of both of us. I was in the process of cleaning it up when Aidan came out and asked what I was doing. I told him that Brinn had spilled my cereal and that I was cleaning it up. He then walked over to Brinn, who was laying on the floor, and told her, "That makes mommy and daddy sad. Your in a time-out." It made me realize that little ears are always listening and I then had to explain that it was an accident and that she didn't mean to do it. A couple minutes later I was finishing cleaning up the mess (totally not mad) and Aidan says, "Calm down mom." I just had to laugh.

It's Been Awhile

I know it's been awhile so I am playing catch-up today. Here are some clips of Aidan and Brinn that I tried to post a little while ago that didn't work so I will give it another try.

Okay, the video of Brinn did not work so I will work on that but for now here is a video clip of Aidan dancing... I think "So You Think You Can Dance" is in our future. :)

Cousins

We just got back from visiting David's family in Tri-Cities Washington. It was fun to see everyone and a lot of his family had not met Brinn so it was great for them to meet her. Aidan had so much fun with his cousins. He loves Mekhi, Trevor, and Miranda and talks about them all the time. We are blessed to have so much family that loves us and our kids. Hopefully it won't be too long before we can see them again.

Aidan's New Accessories

Aidan got some sunglasses for Easter and as you can see he wears them everywhere. (Car, Airplane, the house.) Many times they end up upside down, but I think he looks "cool" either way.

PS- Don't forget the lovely pink bike helmet he was caught sporting.

Easter!!!

This year we had a fun Easter. Aidan is finally old enough to "get it" and it is so fun to see him getting excited. Probably the most exciting thing of all was having David home for Easter, a rare treat!

Grandma Larson

David's mom was able to come and visit for a few days right before I had my surgery. It was so fun to see her and Aidan had a fun time too. Aidan loves to bake so he was in 7th Heaven when they made chocolate M&M cookies. I would say about 10% of the M&M's make it on the cookies and 90% make it in Aidan's mouth.

Brinn

Brinn is now 6 months old... where does the time go? She has the cutest little smile and is a mommas girl, which is fun and not so fun at the same time. I have been trying to give her rice cereal and fruit and she refuses to eat either. I am afraid she will still be solely nursing when she's four. I have been reading and everyone says don't force it, and that eventually she will start eating other foods, but any advice would be great.

She loves her binky but when she can't find it, her fingers will always do. It's so funny though because she sucks her fingers backwards with her palm out.
