I thought this week I would let you in on some of my favorite things...
Day 1: Mod Podge
I made this ugly, plain pill holder into this stylish beauty with some leftover scraps from my scrapbook paper and some mod podge!
Seriously, who wouldn't rather pop some pills from this! I am now trying to come up with some other fun ideas for my mod podge. Any suggestions?

On the hunt for the eggs... 
My attempt at a cute Easter picture... didn't really happen. And sadly this was the best one! Better luck next year!
This year because David was going to be gone on Easter we made sure we dyed our eggs before he left. Brinn missed out because she was sleeping, but I don't think she would have had too much interest in it anyways... she is such a busy-body (at least that is what I am telling myself to avoid feeling guilty!)
Aidan showing off his artwork. This dye kit was actually very fun and made the eggs turn out speckled and with funky stripes. I think we will stick with this kind in the future... plus it did not require the use of vinegar! Yeah, for no stinky smells!
This is a common scene at our house. These two love each other so much!
I mean they will seriously sometimes do this for minutes at a time. It is so cute!
After a year and a half of frustration and trying EVERYTHING to get Aidan to go poo-poo on the potty... MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Last weekend something just clicked and he ran in by himself and went and we have not had any accidents since. I am so happy, David is so happy, and Aidan is so proud of himself.
Here are some of the bribes that he is cashing in on:
1. He filled out his sticker chart for the kite he wanted and is the proud new owner of a Shamu kite
2. My mom is taking him to the theater to watch the dinosaur play
3. My sister Mandi is sending him some new unders
4. Lauren is getting him some candy
5. He finally gets to ride his scooter that he got for Christmas that I told him was only for bog boys about 2 months ago
6. He gets to chew gum
OH HAPPY DAY!
My mom has been taking Aidan to the Children's Theater every couple of weeks to see the shows they put on there.
So, it was no surprise to me when he started to put on his own shows at home. He lines up all his stuffed animals, makes David and I sit down, and then he makes the animals talk to each other. It is so fun to watch his imagination at work.

Me, on the other hand, not so much. This morning I spent 1.5 hours outside moving the sprinkler around to water the lawn... not my favorite thing! And this is just the beginning. In my next house automatic sprinklers will be a MUST!
