I have been meaning to post these for awhile...

Okay, this picture is almost 2 months old but I just love it! Plus, any mom will know what I am talking about when you walk into your babies room and they are standing up in their crib for the first time. Your excited and sad at the same time. It's one of those markers that reminds you that your baby is not such a baby any more. Brinn was so proud of herself!

And how can I not post a picture of Aidan's first shiner... aka black eye. This actually happened when we were in Ecuador. Makes you wonder about the kind of care he was receiving while mom and dad were away. I mean, I know he's a handful but this is a little excessive! :) Actually, he had a little run in with the kiddie pool!

Boys Trip

Before we went to Ecuador, David met up with his brothers and Dad in Seattle for a BYU vs UW game. They had a great time and the game was awesome!

Alan, Derek, David, Dad, and Jeff and the tail-gate party!

The view from the stadium... this makes me miss Seattle!

I think they all had a fun time, including Derek, even though you can't tell by the expression on his face ;)

See... see it?

Yesterday I left Aidan talking on the phone to my mom while I went and put some laundry away.

When I came back in this is what I heard: "See... see it?"

And this is what I saw:

Aidan had told her all about his potty chart with stickers and wanted to show her. Oh Aidan!

He wanted to help...

Aidan wanted to help me dress Brinn today (actually he insisted)

And this is what he picked...

It could have been worse!

It's going to be a long day...

6:30 am this morning... Need I say more?

FUN FUN FUN!

Happy Birthday Brinn (and Daddy!)

David's birthday was while we were in Ecuador so we combined his and Brinn's birthday celebrations!

We started the night off by going to Red Lobster for dinner... after all they do have all-you-can-eat-shrimp going on right now.
The birthday boy and girl! Opening gifts! The birthday cupcake! Aidan decided Brinn was getting too much attention so he tried to show her up! Happy girl! The only way to get her clean... straight from highchair to sink! Brinn sporting her new birthday gift... I have to tell you that I LOVE finally having some girly toys in the house!
Brinn goes to town on her cupcake!

Ecuador- Day 1

Our first day in Ecuador we spent exploring Quito.

Can you believe that we fit all our stuff into these two backpacks...

The Plaza Grande where cathedrals and current government buildings are found.

We took a tram 13,800 feet up above the city of Quito.

Mitad del Mundo- the equator.

The Ravelo Family- A family David baptised while on his mission, who actually opened their house to us and insisted we stay with them for a night.

Day 2

Our second day we took a 2.5 hour bus ride to Santo Domingo, the last area David served on his mission. We tracked down Eddison and his family, all who David had baptised 7 years ago.
This is their home, very humbling for me to be in! Some of their rooms actually just had sheets as dividers.

Later that night we went around the town with Eddison and a few other member from the area.

Just For Fun...
