Going to the pumpkin patch in 85 degree weather just doesn't seem right.... so I put Brinn in a fall outfit anyway. Poor girl! Not to mention that they don't actually grow pumpkins at the pumpkins patch, instead they are imported from New Mexico. I guess we were spoiled in Washington. Despite it all, I think Aidan and Brinn still had a fun time and after all, that is what it's all about!
Aidan and Dad going through the hay maze. The perfect size for the little man!

Our Little Pumpkins!
Aidan and Dad made this scarecrow.
This is Brinn's "I'm smiling but I am not quite sure about this big orange thing you are making me hang on to" face!

The petting zoo as advertised turned out to be 4 baby chicks, not quite what I was expecting! But they were cute!
He doesn't like to admit it but she has him wrapped around her finger!
The hay ride through the apple orchard.
So fun to have grandma come along!

I have been tagged!
David took this picture in Denali National Park when we lived in Alaska for a summer. Alaska is so beautiful although the quality of the picture was not the best (this was pre-digital camera for us)...
So now I pass this tag along to Robyn, Tami, Mandi, Julie, and Alisha.
Rules: Go to your 4th photo file, go the 4th picture and post it! Then pass the tag along!

Could it be?
Isn't it crazy how genes work? David's mom emailed me this picture of his family when he was little and when I looked at this picture of him I saw little Brinn!

This picture does not do it justice but she makes that same face especially in the mouth area!

Is that you Scooby-Doo?
Aidan has potty issues! He absolutely refuses to go poo-poo on the potty so I bribed him (yes that's right, bribed him) that if he went poo-poo on the potty he could call Scooby-Doo. He really likes Scooby-Doo and I was so desperate that I was willing to try anything. The other day he did it (YEAH) and so we celebrated with a phone call to Scooby-Doo... I have connections aka. David. Aidan was so excited and was beaming the entire time he was on the phone. Scooby told him that he was chasing ghosts and he thought that was great. Unfortunately, we have not had any poo-poo in the potty since then (which I am sure you are all dying to know) but we are still working on it. I just hope we are still not working on it when he is in third grade... but at the rate we are going that very well could be the case :)

Smile!
The other day we were outside sitting on a blanket (because Brinn hates the grass... babies are funny that way.) It was a perfect afternoon with a slight breeze (we can finally go outside at 5:00 and not bake... yeah!) Brinn LOVES being outside and was so happy I couldn't resist taking a few photos. Here are some of my favorites!

I lover her little profile!

And finally a little shot with me and my kiddos... I AM IN LOVE!
