Brinn's First School Concert

Brinn had her first school concert right before Christmas.

We were a little disappointed (okay, a lot) in the seating situation and the also the extremely rude people (and by people I mean adults) who talked through other classes performances when it was not their child's turn (seriously people... very eye opening and sad!)

But to see the smile on this face...
... totally worth it! Love this girl of mine!

Aidan's School Concert

Aidan had his school concert a few days after Brinn's! Oh man... this kid bounced through every song!

In fact, the week before when they were practicing for the program at school Aidan got light headed and pale. The PE teacher/coach carried him into the nurses office where he actually passed out for a second. I went and picked him up early and he ended up being fine (pretty sure it was related to low blood sugar,)  but before he went back to school the next day I made sure to remind him to not lock his knees while they were practicing (just in case that had contributed to situation.)
After his concert I leaned over to my mom and David and said, "Something tells me that him locking his knees was not an issue."

Tucker hits a Milestone!

Tucker hit 6 months old back at the beginning of Dec. and it was time to give him his first taste of rice cereal! He seemed to like!

Oh my goodness! Could you just eat him!

A little messy but still liking it!

As we went on, he went from the above pictures to this...

LOVE THIS PICTURE!

After a few weeks of trying to feed him and him clamping his lips tight, we figured out that if we mash up some banana in it he is good to go. The other foods... well, we are still working on that! So far, we are heading down the picky eater road!

November 2012

November 23 David and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary! I can't even begin to tell you how lucky I feel to be married to not only a great husband and father... but truly, my best friend! So glad that he is mine! Looking forward to spending eternity with this guy by my side!

We were in Washington on our anniversary and ended up at the shooting range with some of his siblings! Super fun! (David hates this pic, I told him "Honey, I was going for the we're a little bit crazy look after all these years:)") We saved our real date for when we got home and went to Red Lobster for dinner (CRAB! YUM!) The Melting Pot for dessert (YUMM!) and finished the night off with a movie! Were saving our big ta-do (fun trip/romantic getaway) for when little Tucker is not so "attached" to me.

Love this man! Love our kiddos! Love our life!

Look at these Cuties!!

You know those moments when you look at your kids and your like "WOW... I can't believe their mine!" And you feel so blessed and so greatful...

Aidan Boy

These pictures are pretty old but non-the-less, I am bound and determined to get them on here...
Aidan is such a good kid. He is sweet and sensitive but tries my patience because he does everything at his own pace (SLOW) and that sometimes kills me. He is a great big brother and he and Brinn play a lot together! He has recently gotten into reading and loves the Dairy of a Wimpy Kid books. He just finished his first season of baseball and while he may not be a natural, he improved a lot and had fun... which is all that matters to me!
Aidan soakin up some rays this past summer

First day of 2nd Grade! He loves his teacher Mrs. Wallace... and so do I!

Showing his pouty face...

I love the smile on this boy!

Aidan's birthday dinner of salmon! This boy loves his salmon!

Brinn, Brinn, Brinni Boo!

Words can not describe how much I love this little girl! She is such my little mini-me! Brinn is such a helper and little mother with the other kids(whether they like it or not!). She is loving ballet!!! and also loves horses, pre-school, playing with Aidan, and anything artsy like coloring etc. Brinn has a very active imagination and  is always making up (interesting)names for her stuffed animals, hair styles, and dance moves. (More on that later!) Since I now know she is and always will be my only girl, I am trying to hold onto some of the phases and stages she is going through a little tighter! (Tear!)

Brinn on her 5th Birthday!!!
She loves puzzles and loves her daddy even more! I'm pretty sure she was in heaven in this picture!
Brinn loves all things girly! She loves to pick out her own clothes and most days we have arguments discussions about what she is going to wear. At the same time, most the time I think she has more sense of style already then I do!

Enjoying the summer weather!

Putting on a show!!!

                                                                        Oh Yeah!!!

 Love this girl!!!

Halloween

My oh my... Playing catch-up doesn't even begin to describe how much I need to post on here. My problem is that my pictures are being held hostage on my camera because I have no cord to download them onto my computer with and the card in my camera is too small for my card drive(or whatever the right lingo is.) And even if that were not a problem, I also have the issue of not really having a home for them. Our laptop decided to die, which was where we stored all our pictures. So now, even if I could put them on our very old and slow computer I have no program to put them in... FRUSTRATION!!!

But alas, the blog must go on! This is my journal! I write it for my kids! It's where I show-off all my favorite pics, record the cute things my kids say, and just a general day-to-day of our lives. I refuse to let this get pushed to the way-side any longer! If you follow me on insta-gram or facebook you have most likely seen many of these pictures... but like I said: This is for the kiddos!

I thought I would start with these Halloween pictures and work my way back... Be prepared for posting overload! We went with the Wizard of Oz theme this year as a family and had so much fun! We even won first place at our ward Trunk-or-Treat!

When I decided I was going to force let them to be these characters I realized they had never seen the movie... so we bought the book and have been reading it together every night! The kids have been so into it and I think the fact that they were going to dress up as them made them even more excited it!

Have you ever seen a cuter lion?
My Little (and yet no so little any more) Tinman!

And my individual pictures of Dorthy and the Scarecrow are trapped in prison on my camera :(
Overall, Halloween was a big success... now to start planning for next year! How do we top this??? Not sure yet! It was pretty awesome!

Just For Fun...
