Our little guy Owen was born today at 12:20pm. Labor and delivery went wonderful! My doctor said if all women had babies like I do he would be out of a job :) We are doing great... so without further a-due, meet Owen!

... We should be holding the little guy in our arms. Can't wait! Don't worry.... we will keep you posted with updates and pictures as soon as we can!
- All day yesterday Aidan was asking if we could watch lip sticks, and for the life of me I could not figure out what in the world he was talking about. Any guesses? Finally, I figured out that he wanted to watch the Olympics :)
- On our way to my doctors appointment Aidan informed us he wanted to take the alligator aka elevator.
- And for your information our family sandwich in bed this morning as decided by Aidan was as follows:
Dad: Bread
Aidan: Peanut Butter
Brinn: Jam
Baby Brother: Pickles
Mom: Bread
Sounds good doesn't it?
UPDATE:
Went to the doctor yesterday and I am 4 cm dilated. Dr. told David he should probably not go out of town so David is home for good until after this little guy makes his grand arrival. So anytime or for sure on Monday... can't wait!
There is a light at the end of the tunnel! We are set to be induced on Feb. 22, unless the little guy decides to come earlier on his own (which we are actually hoping does not happen since David will be out of town 9 out of the next 11 days.) YEAH!!!

My goal is to have hospital bags packed, baby clothes (from storage) washed, car seat in, and play pen/bassinet up by the end of the week. Wish me luck!

So are you wondering what we are going to name our little guy? He does have a name... and it's not a super big secret but I thought I would keep all of you out there in blog-land in suspense. So until the he makes his arrival I will give you this to ponder...

Just got done reading this book...
...about this little girl...
... who died of a brain tumor. It was her story of her struggle with the illness and the lessons that she taught others along the way. A quick read, a sad read... but reminds me to hug my kids a little tighter each night and to enjoy the little moments and not take them for granted!
