Remember when I posted about how I wanted to publish my blog??? Well, I decided to go with Blurb.com and estimate it will cost me about $80 a book, each book covering 1 years worth of posts. (Which I consider to be a pretty good deal considering the first book will have about 180 posts. ) I have been working on my book for a few weeks and although it does upload your blog for you, you do have to go in and edit/arrange things to where you want them. It is time consuming but I am excited about the end result.
Now, to my good deal. Found on another blog that Blurb.com has a great offer going on right now. Blurb is offering a coupon code that gets you $39.95 off your product total. That's huge!!
Check out everything you can do at Blurb.com and use the coupon code BLOG2010 to get the discount! And the good news is that the code does not expire until Aug. 31st which gives you plenty of time to work on, spend time on, and finish your first book.
Just thought I would pass on a good deal!

Just got back...
Just got back from a quick trip to Utah. Sorry for those of you that I was not able to see while I was there. We spent most of the time with family and cousins. Here is a look at some of the things we did...
Saw Holli (and Abe) and walked around BYU. Brinn kept telling Holli, "Your my favorite friend" and grabbing onto her leg. (Seriously, how come I couldn't get some of the good genes like Holli?)
Aidan showing off his new hat!
Let's not forget the little guy who is finally putting on a little chunk! :)
Groovy!
It was so fun to watch Brinn and Elli play together... Can't you just see them in 60 years?
There is nothing better than cousins!
And of course we can't go without an infamous picture of Brinn dressed up, at least she has someone to join in now!
More pictures of Utah to come!

Cute projects-1...
Not mine... but ones I want to do at some point in the future. I thought I would compile them all into one place so I don't forget all the cute things I want to do and how to do them. These projects are all from Trey and Lucy. You can check out the link on my sidebar.

Chunky Monkey
Meet Chunky Monkey!

Actually the little guy is anything but chunky and that has been our full-time project the last few weeks... to fatten him up. I ended up taking him in around three months and he had not gained any weight in a month. He still weighed 9.4oz. So after several visits to this doctor and this specialist we are making progress. To make a long story short, it seems I was not making enough food for the little man. So aside from all the other pieces to this puzzle that are slowly coming together, I though it couldn't hurt to do a little reverse psychology- hence the name Chunky Monkey.

Did you know...
Did you know that the first Sat. of every month Home Depot does a free craft project for kids? Well, if you didn't know... you do now. It was so much fun! My kids LOVED it!
Notice our little lefty???
You might notice that Brinn's project looks a little unfinished. Well, after putting it together wrong for the second time I figured it would just have to stay like this. She didn't seem to mind.
My friend Julie and her kids did it with us... so here they all are showing off their projects. We will be going again for sure!

Memorial Day
We had David home for Memorial Day! WOO-HOO! I thought it would be fun to take the kids out to breakfast. I told the kids that morning that we were going somewhere fun... so when we pulled up in the Denny's parking lot and I told them that we were going to be eating breakfast there Aidan said, "This isn't fun. You said we were going somewhere fun. I want to go somewhere fun." Well, I think I get an A for effort!
You know what... Aidan was right. It wasn't fun! The kids would not sit still and neither one ate what they ordered. We should have stuck to our fruity pebbles at home. Oh well... maybe we will try it again in another 5 or 10 years.
Next stop, Walmart for a slip-n-slide. We have the perfect slope in our backyard! Aidan had no problem going for it.
Brinn opted to be a sunbathing beauty in the pool. (Although later I kind of forced her to go down, knowing that once she did she would love it... I was right. Never got any pictures of it though... maybe next time!)
Guess who???
If you guessed David then you would be right. And this is where he landed after I scrambled out of the way. His head was literally an inch from the fence.
And this is how we ended our day. Brinn wanted to hold Owen and a few minutes later they were both out!
The perfect day of family fun!
